1st foods... 6 months

My hub suggested to me, since u have nothing better to do at home, why don't u come up with some recipes for Brendan since u like cooking so much...'nothing better to do'!!! well... i resent that!! i have heaps to do: sleeping, playing with my cats, playing with Brendan, combing my cats' hair, taking baths for them... HEAPS!!

well.. i did come up with some.. but i guess they may be the same as other recipe books afterall, what else can babies eat?

i have about 10 recipes for 6 months, have tried out 3. To start making your own puree, you'll need to get a couple of gears:

1) a reliable food processor ( i got Braun 300W)
2) feeding bowls/spoons
3) brand new pot (just for the baby)

Pooh Wonderland

Thanks Marilene & Eugene... We finally have our Pooh Wonderland bumper mat from ssw!!! :-) a little disapointed with the size of it, i expected it to be bigger... well, good thing i got this instead of the world mat, can't imagine how small that will be!!

And this mat has ABCs at the back fo it... so it's dual side, talk about value for money!!! Larry thought it was cheap... well, $289SGD... kinda ok for such a pretty mat.

Look at the 3rd pciture, Brendan seems to like his mat!!

My Playroom!!! :-)

Have decided to convert our guest room cum study into Brendan's playroom cos he's growing up and would need a place to crawl and play. Hmmm... how should it be done? COLORS!! I shall make the room colorful, colors to brighten up the day. What color shall we paint the room? Yellow? Blue? Orange?

We've decided to paint the room yellow, Larry got one of the painters over and painted it yellow... ok... now for the decor... THINKING CAP...

where can i find nursery decor in TW?

found some bath toys at Eslite bookstore, Hsinyi.. hmmm... not a bad idea... shall use them to stick on the walls of his playroom. I bought the alphabets, had to buy 2 sets cos the the 2 'Ns' in his name & Space... they're out of the beach theme...

need a bumper mat/crawling mat BUT i dun want those ABC mats... i really want the ssw bumper mat!! can someone pls sourier one over to tw...

Is this what he does to books!!!

Look Ma... I'm reading!! NOT... hmm.. look at what our future little scholar is doing to his book!! ripping it apart! it's a good thing it isn't made of paper!!
