Mommy & daddy took me to my grandparents!! they wanted me to spend my birthday with them. They took me to yu island http://yukids.com.tw/ and then to a Japanese restaurant for sushi and for my steam egg, then we went home to sing me a birthday song & to cut my chocolate birthday cake!

Slack Mommy!!

Toro porridge in chicken soup

Chicken Soup Porridge with Toro

part 1 (ckn soup)
chicken drumsticks
wolfberry
red dates
water

put everything in the pot & bring to boil for about 5 hrs.

part 2
5 grain rice (soak overnite for softness)
toro
puree vegetables (bak choy)
soup from the ckn soup


bring the rice to boil with the soup and adding some water too.
slice the toro into fine pieces.
pump all ingredients in when the porridge is almost ready.
and VIOLA!! Toro porridge in chicken soup... Brendan ate 2 BIG bowls of it!! :-)

Am turning 1 soon... my mommy decided to make me or rather ask auntie pawprint to make me some posters!! (lazy mommy has also FINALLY decided to update my blog!!) Mommy had planned a HUGE party for me in celebration of life BUT unfortunately... many rsvp to say they're not gonna be in town.

House Warming April 14th 2007

Mommy & Daddy moved to this new apartment in Nan Kang because of MOI :-). They wanted me to have a place for my 1st Birthday and our old apt. convenient it may be but it was just too TINY!! Mommy invited a few of her good friends over to WARM UP the house!! unfortunately, some aunties couldn't come...

it was a potluck party!! Auntie Anastasia made lasagne and chocolate cake, auntie Linda, salad, Auntie Yin Leng made quiche and mommy made chicken curry. Oh yah, uncle ones made caesar salad from scratch.

it was a pretty fun party, i had a lot of kids to play with BUT nobody really played with me cos i am too young BUT they had a fun time playing with all my toys. Mommy spent 1 week cleaning up the 'tornado' mess.

Sleep Baby Sleep

first i sleep on the pillow, then i sleep around the pillow... OOps Fasten by the seat belt and strapped to my stroller. STUCK!! arent i cute in all my sleeping positions? hee hee!! Mommy loves to take pictures of me when i'm sleeping.

Me @ play with all my toys!! YAY!! i have so many toys, mommy doesnt know wat to get me anymore. i also have alot of books, puzzles, cars... think my next toys will be thomas the engine. i think mommy wants to get me a ride-on BUT she wants to wait till my b-day.

CRAWL BABY CRAWL... or CREEP...

Baby Brendan has been doing that since we moved to our new apartment. creeping or crawling?? dunno... 1st time MA... :) he uses his legs and push himself forward BUT gets really frustrated & agitated when he cant get what he wants... (bad mommy will keep pushing his things away fr him.. :)just trying to make him crawl/creep further)

every evening i'll take the little one down for a walk or to the children's playroom to crawl/play. i keep asking them when they gonna fill the swimming pools up... :( APRIL!! YAY!! CANT WAIT!!

Glorious FEET!!!

Was feeding Brendan lunch when he decided that his feet was more delicious... little one is TEETHING!! been kinda difficult for the past 2 days... so much for sleeping thru (12 hrs straight and 220ml solids!!) :(
ENDEAVOR!! can see 1 of the tooth now... where is the 2nd one? my N begins to hurt AGAIN!! friction against his new tooth... hopefully it will pass and breastfeeding will be a breeze again. :)

Mommy's Birthday!!

Mommy's BIRTHDAY!!! SHhhh... she's not telling the age cos she feels she's too old now... March 6th 197... :-)
Daddy brought us all the way to keelung for dinner on sunday and then we had dinner with some of mommy's friends on the day itself at sweet dynasty.

and as u can see... daddy has also FINALLY set up my stroller!! YAY!! now i can see everyone and everything!! :-) Daddy bought my mom a bouquet of flowers with 3 stalks of roses "i love u" it represents and a strawberry cake.
